The third series of Inside No. 9 technically started at Christmas with the wonderful The Devil of Christmas, however we’ve had to wait two months for more episodes.
In that time, the BBC have announced that there will be a fourth series of the critically acclaimed comedy anthology series. But first there are five episodes of series three left to enjoy Expect macabre twists, shocks and surprises as Pemberton and Shearsmith deliver what promises to be their most daring series yet.
Here’s a first look at the third series:
In the first episode, The Bill, Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith are joined by Jason Watkins and Philip Glenister who play a group of friends who after a tiresome game of badminton go for a night out at a local restaurant.
They indulge in some tapas and a few drinks, which sounds like a lot of fun, but ultimately somebody has to pay the bill at the end of the night. What has started out as a pleasant evening ends with a shocking twist, as an argument about who is going to pick up the bill erupts and then spirals out of control.
Other guest stars include Tamzin Outhwaite, Sarah Hadland, Keeley Hawes and Felicity Kendal.
Inside No. 9 returns Tuesday 21st February at 10pm on BBC Two
