When Chas backtracks on what she said, will Laurel confess to what she did?

Shocked to see Anthony’s car has gone, Steph takes her frustration out on Caleb and Ruby. But Caleb reiterates this has always been what Anthony is like, while Ruby crumbles under the emotional turmoil.
The following day, an awkward Chas admits to Ruby how she told Nicola about Anthony being a danger to children. Livid, Ruby tells Chas she has to take back what she said in order to protect Steph who still doesn’t know.
However, Nicola and Laurel are both left incredulous when Chas backtracks what she told them, both still believing his disappearance is still in some way down to them.
They act grateful for Chas setting things straight, but once she’s gone, Laurel’s reeling to think what she’s done despite Nicola’s firefighting and admits she has to tell the truth and go to the police.
Can Nicola convince her away from the cliff edge?
