Can Suki convince her to lodge a complaint?

With Lily struggling with grief, Avani suggests that she, Lily, and Amy avoid school and have an adventure instead.
When Priya catches them, Avani manages to convince her to turn a blind eye as she’s trying to cheer Lily up.
As the three of them have a laugh, they bump into Marvin, the boy who sold Avani vapes last year, and he offers them drugs.
Although Avani refuses, the police arrive and realise the girls are skiving school. Spotting a bag of pills that Marvin has dropped by Avani’s feet, the police take the girls to the station, where Jack and Jean separately come to retrieve Amy and Lily.
However, neither Priya nor Ravi answer calls about Avani and she’s horrified when the officers explain they need to strip search her as they believe she could have more drugs concealed.
At the police station, a terrified Avani is strip-searched by two female officers and refuses the offer of an appropriate adult in the room.
Later, Suki arrives, having been tipped off by Jean, and is horrified to hear what’s happened. But Avani won’t allow her to lodge a complaint.
Back at No.41, Priya questions Avani on her whereabouts and an argument breaks out between the pair as Avani suggests that Priya is a bad mother. After discovering that Avani was detained and strip searched, Priya storms over to No.27 to rage to Jack about Avani’s ordeal at the hands of officers at his police station.
Meanwhile, Lily and Amy are horrified to discover what has happened. Humiliated, Avani lashes out at Suki and Amy and flees. Once alone at home, Avani breaks down.
Suki, Priya, and Eve are deeply worried about Avani. But as she heads home to Ravi’s, Avani instead heads to the playground to drink a bottle of vodka.
Later, Priya and Ravi are horrified to realise that Avani has gone AWOL and things get even worse when they find her passed out in the playground. After a trip to the doctor, Ravi starts to realise something is badly wrong and finally gets the truth from Suki.
