Once back home, outwardly, Belle presents calm as she secretly fights her demons.

The next day, Lydia is concerned Belle may not be coping and we soon realise her head is full of a cacophony of voices. But she is desperate to hear the one true voice of her dad’s calming tones.

When they realise the extent of her mental anguish, Sam and Lydia feel distressed to find Belle at her lowest point.
