Bertie almost drowns after being left in Jenny's care in Corrie

Will he be OK?

15-21 MARCH

Presenting Rita with a spa voucher, Jenny explains that Daisy’s dad invested shares in her name years ago and she’s expecting a payout of £60k.

As Daisy stresses about the money they owe Carla, Jenny keeps schtum about her windfall and Daniel suggests to Daisy that she should move in with him and Bertie. However, Daisy worries that it wouldn’t be fair to abandon Jenny.

Handing Daisy the spa voucher, Jenny makes out she bought it for her to cheer her up. Whilst Daisy’s touched, Jenny suppresses her guilt. As she ruminates over Jenny’s recent windfall, Daisy wonders how long she intends to keep it a secret.

When Jenny offers Carla £60k in part-payment of her debt, Carla’s unimpressed and suggests she use the money for a business loan then she can pay off the whole debt.

Looking after Bertie, Jenny is distracted by a call from the bank, unaware that in the garden at No.4, Bertie spots his football floating in the hot tub. And when Steve and Cassie head out for a saucy dip, they’re horrified to see Bertie in the water!

As Jenny frantically searches the street, Steve and Cassie emerge with Bertie. As Bertie is taken to hospital, Daisy reads the riot act to Jenny, pointing out he could have drowned, just like Tom.

With Jenny beside herself, will Bertie be OK?

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 with first look episodes available from 7am on ITVX
