And it's his first ever love story!

Jack Thorne is returning to Channel 4 with Falling, a brand new six-part drama that's also his first ever love story.
Described as a contemporary and deeply romantic drama, Falling promises to surprise viewers in its study of faith in modern society as well as move viewers to tears with its honesty and its heart.
Falling follows Anna, a devoted nun who has spent most of her adult life in a convent whilst David, a catholic priest, is at the top of his game, committed to his work in the church and the Bristol community that surrounds it.
Neither are expected to fall in love. However, when they do, both Anna and David are forced to wrestle with what it means for them, their vows, and their relationship with God.
Falling will be made by The Forge Entertainment, produced by Joe Donaldson, directed by Peter Hoar executive produced by George Ormond, George Faber and Jack Thorne.
Speaking about the upcoming drama, Ollie Madden, Director of Film4 and Channel 4 Drama said "Falling is a beautifully observed, achingly romantic drama about two people who can’t deny the feelings they have for one another, and yet battle with the crisis of faith their relationship triggers."
"Jack Thorne’s scripts are not only profoundly moving, but quietly subversive, witty, and revelatory in their examination of religion in contemporary society. We couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with Jack, The Forge, and the brilliant Peter Hoar on this unique drama."
To which executive producer George Ormond added "Jack has created two central characters in Anna and David who feel deeply but hold their faith equally deeply. That puts them in an impossible position and makes for a fantastically compelling, richly rewarding love story that is moving and insightful in equal measure."
Casting details will be announced in due course.
Falling will air on Channel 4
