Chelsea sabotages Penny's big carnival party at Peggy's in EastEnders

Will her actions have serious consequences?

FOR WEEK COMMENCING 26 AUGUST

After a weekend of carnival celebrations, the Square is abuzz, but it's clear that Penny is underprepared for her club night at Peggy’s as she attempts to flog some last minute tickets outside The Vic.

At Peggy’s, Chelsea and Penny have a frosty exchange before Chelsea attempts to sabotage the night by meddling with the booking system to make more tickets available online, even though the event is almost at full capacity.

Meanwhile in The Vic, Kim tells Jack that Denise has started finalising their divorce proceedings and Avani convinces Amy and Nugget to gatecrash the carnival party at Peggy’s.

Oblivious, Penny continues to try and bring in more customers, but it’s not long before chaos ensues as Peggy’s becomes dangerously overcrowded.

Meanwhile, Junior asks Cindy to join him at Peggy’s, but their affair threatens to be rumbled when Ian arrives. As the pair hide in the office, they give into their desires, unaware of the events that are unfolding outside.

With too many inside, chaos continues at Peggy's as a crush intensifies. And Jack is distraught as he arrives at Peggy’s to see the aftermath of the crush.

Later, a guilty Chelsea worries as she is questioned on her role of events by the police.

EastEnders continues Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One with first look episodes available from 6am on BBC iPlayer
