With Strictly underway, ITV are announcing which celebrities will be taking part in the next series of Dancing on Ice.
Returning to ITV in the new year, each week twelve celebrities will embark on the ultimate challenge as they take to the ice each week, skating live in a bid to impress both the panel and viewers at home, who will ultimately decide who wins the show.
Back for a sparkling new series, the greatest show on ice promises more glitz, glamour and show-stopping performances as the celebrities brave it all to learn this dangerous discipline. But who has what it takes to master the skill and steps and lift the trophy at the end of the series?
Holly Willoughby will once again return to present the show with Torvill and Dean, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse all expected to return as judges although no confirmation yet from ITV.
Here are the famous faces confirmed to be taking part in the 2023 series...
Ricky Hatton MBE
World Champion Boxer
World Champion Boxer Ricky Hatton MBE is the first celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Revealing the news exclusively on This Morning today, Ricky said "If I can hold my nerve in the boxing ring I should be able to hold my nerve in the ice rink. Ilike setting new challenges and keeping myself busy!"
Claire Sweeney
Actress
Actress Claire Sweeney is the second celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Revealing the news exclusively on This Morning, Claire said "I’m really looking forward to going to an ice rink with my son and actually being able to skate and not have to use the penguins they give you to help you stay upright!"
She added "I've had to wear my boots around the house... I haven't stepped on the ice yet."
Hannah Spearritt
Actress and Singer
Actress and singer Hannah Spearritt is the third celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Revealing the news exclusively on Good Morning Britain, Hannah said "I'm really excited about learning a new skill. It's so easy to live your comfortable life and that aspect of mixing things up is very appealing. Fitness is another reason why I’m doing it! It's really exciting."
Amber Davies
West End Star
West End star Amber Davies is the fourth celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Revealing the news exclusively on Lorraine, Amber said "I would definitely say that I'm an adrenaline junkie but I do get more nervous as I get older and I hope that I can contain them, I don't want the adrenalin to get the better of me."
She said, "I can count on one hand how many times I've ice skated."
Greg Rutherford MBE
Olympic Champion and Presenter
Olympic Champion and Presenter Greg Rutherford MBE is the is fifth celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Revealing the news exclusively on Good Morning Britain, Greg said "My kids love dancing around so hopefully they are going to enjoy watching me dance with blades on my feet! I think this is going to be a really different experience but one that will be quite exciting."
"I like a challenge and I needed a reason to go out and do stuff again and here we are. I want to perform something that's never been done before, that's my aim. I'll go 100,000% on this. I'll try hard, I'm in no way expecting to be good but I will work as hard as I can."
Miles Nazaire

TV Personality Miles Nazaire is the sixth celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Revealing the news exclusively via social media, Miles said "I’ve always loved to dance but it’s usually on a dance floor on a Saturday night and Dancing on Ice looks so difficult. I keep thinking about how I’m going to need to have rhythm while balancing on a thin blade and that's when I feel the nerves kick in, but this is such an unbelievable opportunity to get totally out of my comfort zone."
Lou Sanders
Comedian and writer
Comedian and writer Lou Sanders is the eighth celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Revealing the news exclusively to Nihal Arthanayake on BBC Radio 5 Live, Lou said "I’m nervous about cracking my head open, or just bashing the old head. I can’t afford to lose any more brain cells. I’m also worried about my partner picking me up, he’s going to have to be very strong and very brave."
Ricky Norwood

Actor Ricky Norwood is the ninth celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Revealing the news exclusively on Loose Women, Ricky said "Being on the ice! I’m apprehensive about the lifts, especially the headbanger. I’ve got to trust in the process, trust in the training, trust in the trainers."
Adele Roberts

Broadcaster and DJ Adele Roberts is the tenth celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Revealing the news exclusively on Lorraine, Adele said "It's ‘bricking it on ice’ for me! I think the hardest part is putting myself out there as I usually hide away. I did radio as it's not visual. That’s going to be a big challenge. After cancer I have my life back; I actually can’t wait for the glam!"
Ryan Thomas

Actor Ryan Thomas is the eleventh celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of Dancing on Ice. The news was revealed exclusively on Steph’s Packed Lunch.
Roxy Shahidi
Emmerdale star
Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi is the twelfth and final celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Revealing the news exclusively on Steph’s Packed Lunch, Roxy said "I’m an actor hiding behind a character that’s where I’m most comfortable. Being yourself out there on the ice with no character to hide behind is really scary for me. I’d say that’s the scariest element for me."
Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards
Ski Jumper and Olympian
Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards joins the cast of Dancing On Ice after Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb had to withdraw from the show due to an injury he sustained during training.
Swapping skis for skates, Eddie will be taking to the ice alongside his fellow celebrities as training for the 2024 series has now begun.
On joining the show, Eddie said "It’s bittersweet as whilst I’m delighted to be taking part in the new series I’m gutted for Stephen and wish him a speedy recovery. Dancing on Ice is a show I’ve always wanted to do. It’s a challenge I think I’m going to relish!"
