Is it over between them before it’s even begun?
Whilst Dean wants to go public with his relationship with Gina, she insists they keep things quiet for fear of her family’s reaction. Determined to get his way, Dean tries to manipulate Gina into changing her mind, but his efforts don’t work.
Following a chat with Ian, without knowing who he's dating, Dean is advised to prove he’s in the relationship for the long haul. Making a big gesture, Dean marches into The Vic with a bunch of flowers and declares his love for Gina, leaving Linda and the Knights sickened.
With the Knights unhappy to learn of Dean and Gina’s relationship, Gina bites back in the face of their anger and tells them that she doesn't need their approval. Storming out, Gina furiously tells Dean to go away too, leaving him shocked.
Later, Cindy arrives to hear the news and wants to go in all guns blazing but George pleads caution.
Eventually, Gina agrees to hear Dean out and he convinces her to give him another chance. However, on their first public outing, Amy gives Gina food for thought.
Later, Cindy goes to see Dean and makes him an offer and tells him he has until the end of the day to make a decision. But will he accept?
Gina is shocked when Dean reveals what Cindy has offered him and they agree to have a romantic evening at his place. However, the date takes a dark turn when Gina sees Dean’s true colours.
When Jade arrives to stay with him as she's sick of Shabnam fussing around her, Dean is surprised and an incident caused by Penny in the market ends with Jade having a nasty fall, so Honey and Jean rally around her.
