But is Debbie about to put Leila in danger?
19-25 APRIL
After an apologetic Wes and Zoe call to see her at the corner shop flat, Dee-Dee tells Alya that she had a very constructive meeting with them and explains they have agreed to push for extra training focusing on black maternity experiences.
Convinced that she’s turned a corner, Dee-Dee declares that she’s ready to return to work.
Later, as Debbie looks after Laila for the day, she discovers she has a temperature and tells Roy she’s going to take her to the doctors. Concerned, Dee-Dee insists she’ll go with them.
Whilst the hospital run tests and get her temperature down, Debbie notices the formula milk she gave her is for 3-6 month olds and believes it is her fault.
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 with first look episodes available from 7am on ITVX
