Diane makes a life-changing decision to protect her son in Hollyoaks

How will she react to Ro no longer wanting to be different?

 1-7 MARCH

Coming downstairs, Pearl interrupts a moment between Darren and Nancy to say Oscar isn’t in his bed.

Meanwhile, Frankie is shocked to see her brother Oscar at the party and promises to see him tomorrow, warning him that he’s not safe at the party and tells him to go home.

Outside, shocked to see Oscar back in the village, Ro rushes over and apologises, but unable to hear due to his cochlear implant being damaged, a frightened Oscar stumbles and falls over.

As Nancy frets about Oscar's whereabouts, a miscommunication between frightened Oscar and Ro is made worse when passerby Arlo stirs the pot.

Later, Ro confides in his mum about his fear of going into a female young offenders, if convicted of hurting Oscar and Diane promises she’ll do whatever she can to protect her son, before making a lifechanging decision to protect her son.

While at the McQueens, Ro seeks help from Kathleen-Angel and asks Prince for advice on how he survived prison. And Prince tells the youngster to just keep his head down and blend in.

As mums Nancy, Marie and Diane have a heated discussion about their children’s incident going to court, Ro walks in wearing a dress and makeup and tells his mum he doesn’t want to be different.

Hollyoaks continues Mondays to Wednesdays at 7pm on E4 with first look episodes available at 7am on Channel 4 streaming
