A new arrival, a new job, a family holiday and more!
Today, the BBC has announced that filming has started on the third series of their hit sitcom Here We Go, which will air on BBC One in 2025.
Created by and starring Tom Basden as Robin, the new seven-part series sees the return of Jim Howick as Paul, Katherine Parkinson as Rachel, Alison Steadman as Sue, Freya Parks as Amy, Jude Morgan-Collie as Sam and Tori Allen-Martin as Cherry.
Series three will continue to follow the chaotic Jessops’ family as they navigate new jobs, love, loss and family gatherings.
Mum Rachel is starting her new life as a therapist whilst Paul, now a police constable, continues his quest to gain the respect of his peers and his kids.
Uncle Robin and wife Cherry are busy with a new arrival, baby Atlas, while Amy is still figuring out life as a 20-something. Grandmother Sue has moved back in and Sam is, of course, on hand, capturing all the calamity on camera from bungee jumps to riverside baptisms.
The new series will also see the Jessops take a family holiday to Malta, where, of course, nothing goes according to plan.
Speaking about the show's return, creator Tom Basden said "I’m so thrilled to be reunited with our cast of comedy legends to bring another round of the Jessop’s epic family misfortunes and everyday adventures back to BBC One!"
Here We Go is a BBC Studios Comedy Production and executive produced by Josh Cole, Will Sinclair, Tom Basden and Steven Canny.
