After THAT explosion... what will happen next?

Tuesday night's incredible episode of EastEnders, saw Phil hit rock bottom, Reiss try to escape and Cindy try and push Ian in front of a moving car as the identity of her Christmas night attacker was finally revealed!
Driving that car was Reiss, who in order to swerve Ian in the road went crashing into The Queen Vic ending in a huge explosion coming from inside.
On Wednesday night (19th February), as EastEnders celebrates its 40th anniversary with an hour-long episode, there's total panic at The Vic as the people trapped inside face a desperate fight to escape.
The episode promises to be a fight for survival as Walford residents trapped inside The Vic battle to get out.
Outside, Jack and others try to heroically save as many of their friends and neighbours as they can, as parts of The Vic teeter dangerously close to collapse. But as the rescue mission gets underway, not everyone will get out of the smouldering Vic alive.
In these first look photos, we can see newlyweds Honey and Billy clutching each other in the rubble, while Suki, Avani and Nugget look for an escape. Meanwhile, Martin desperately tries to help Lily and find missing Stacey as Alfie tries to keep the terrified Slaters calm.
Who will leave The Vic alive? And just where has Stacey got to?

Meanwhile, returning to the Square, Denise discovers the horror unfolding at The Vic. And with Ravi and Jack caught up in what’s happening, Denise must face her feelings for them both. But just who will Denise choose?
It's up to YOU to decide, as the vote will open at 20:30 on Wednesday 19th February and close at 19:10 on Thursday 20th February, so that the result can be incorporated into the live episode that same evening.
To access the vote, viewers must have a BBC Account and you can register for an account at BBC.co.uk/account, on or before 19th February 2025.
Speaking of which, Thursday sees EastEnders go live at 7.30pm and it’s a life-or-death battle for those still trapped inside The Vic.
