Apple TV+ has released a first look at their new conspiracy thriller.
Apple TV+'s new eight-part conspiracy thriller, Prime Target, starring Leo Woodall and Quintessa Swindell will launch on 22nd January with the first two episodes, followed by a new episode each week.
Created by Steve Thompson, Prime Target features a brilliant young math postgraduate, Edward Brooks, played by Leo Woodall, who is on the verge of a major breakthrough. If he succeeds in finding a pattern in prime numbers, he will hold the key to every computer in the world.
Soon, he begins to realise an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it’s even born, which throws him into the orbit of Taylah Sanders, a female NSA agent. played by Quintessa Swindell, who’s been tasked with watching and reporting on mathematicians’ behavior.
Together, they start to unravel the troubling conspiracy Edward is at the heart of.
Other cast members include Stephen Rea, David Morrissey, Martha Plimpton, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jason Flemyng, Harry Lloyd, Ali Suliman and Joseph Mydell.
Produced by New Regency with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions, Prime Target is executive produced by Ed Rubin for New Regency alongside Beth Pattinson, Emma Broughton, Yariv Milchan, Arnon Milchan and Michael Schaefer, Marina Brackenbury for Scott Free Productions and David W. Zucker and Scott. Laura Hastings-Smith will als executive produce alongside Brady Hood who will also direct all eight episodes.
