After Ste tells him what he heard, not wanting his boyfriend to know he has a target on his back, Rex gaslights Ste into believing he was imagining things again.
Soon, Rex confronts Freddie on the call, not realising he’s accidently admitted to helping Grace the night of Abe’s murder.
When Rex tells Grace he wants out and to put Ste first, she manipulates him. Dillon finds himself tasked with another job from Rex and Donny’s worries grow when he sees them together.
Arriving at Dillon’s house, Donny questions him on his involvement with Rex and his concerns rise when he discovers a vape. But Rex lets himself into the flat, which disturbs Donny’s probing.
Heading to the station, Freddie and Maxine tell DI Banks they believe Donny is working with Grace.
Later, Grace is panic stricken to realise Curtis has gone missing.
