After joining a new dating app which matches based on personality, without photos, Jane is thoroughly enjoying talking with someone she’s dubbed ‘Renaissance Man’.
With Nicolette and Terese wary of her falling for someone she’s never seen, Jane explains how they've bonded over books, music, puzzles and more and it appears the two might be a match made in heaven.
But when Jane nervously accepts an IRL date invitation, she’s thrown when 'Renaissance Man', real name Clint, sits down opposite her and Jane has just snagged herself a considerably younger man!
Embarrassed, Jane explains to him how she thought she was meeting someone her own age. Charming her, Clint suggests she stays as he likes mature women. Wary, Jane sits down and after the two connect over shared interests, she wishes him the best at finding someone on the app and leaves.
Flattered by his smooth talk, Jane wistfully looks back at him, enamoured and after the date admits to Aaron and Nicolette that she was charmed by Clint, but the age gap means they can’t see each other again.
However, this doesn’t stop Clint from asking Jane for another date and when Byron hears about it, he peppers Jane with questions about Clint and his real intentions, unintentionally insinuating that he couldn’t be attracted or interested in Jane without a catch.
With Jane left feeling so insulted, she messages Clint, agreeing to date number two.
