Collecting Aaron from the hospital, Jane admits she’s struggling to find places where she and Clint can be alone together and he suggests using her own house during the day as he will make sure he’s out.
However, when Jane and Clint meet up for an assignation, they’re interrupted by Terese who saw them enter and is keen to talk about methods to bust the thief.
When more chemicals go missing, the crisis is ramped up and Jane wonders who it is. When Aaron points out that it might be Clint, Jane shoots this down, but she’s unsettled by the suggestion. Is it Clint?
As she continues to enjoy her secret love affair with Clint, Jane is completely unaware that a risky smooch at school has been witnessed.
At the same time, Terese grows increasingly frustrated with the continual thefts of cleaning products from Eirini Rising and begins to wonder whether Clint is involved. But Jane successfully hoses Terese’s suspicions down, and the pair instead turn their attention to Jasmine, who was seen loitering outside Eirini Rising late at night.
However, the truth about Jasmine’s presence at Eirini Rising comes out as she’s been helping Elenora win card games for money against the other residents. And whilst Jane admonishes Elenora for exploiting Jasmine’s skills, Jasmine suggests Jane’s being a hypocrite.
After all, she’s exploiting one of her own employees, revealing that she’s the one who saw her and Clint kissing. Mortified, Jane is outed in front of Terese at the worst possible time!
Thrown to hear that Jane has been seeing Clint, when Terese realises that the lovers have been hooking up at Eirini Rising, her temper flares and after their falling out, both Terese and Jane lament the state of their friendship, but no one makes moves to fix it.
When Nicolette and Byron learn of their mother’s love life, they’re equally surprised, with Nicolette loving the new naughty side of Jane.
However, not everyone is thrilled about the pairing and Lana Kline from the Education Department has some devastating news for Jane.
