Seeing him in a different light, will she end what they had?
 25-31 JANUARY
When Aaron brings Jane some lunch to school, she reveals she’s supposed to be going on a lunch date with Clint, but she’s thinking of cancelling.
After Aaron encourages her to go, the date goes well, until a protective Byron passes by and Clint invites him to join them. Despite Jane’s initial wariness, she’s soon pleased to see that the men get along.
When Clint leaves, Byron gives Clint his seal of approval and Jane is relieved, admitting she’d like to see him again. And when Jane then has a brief flirtatious exchange with Taye, Byron is amused by all the younger men taking an interest in his mother.
Flattered, Jane is soon brought back to earth when she’s forced to clean the school toilets, before hurrying off to meet the new cleaner. But when she does, she's horrified to realise that the new cleaner is Clint!
Startled by each other’s roles at Erinsborough High, Jane the principal and Clint the cleaner, they both feel awkward and Jane consults with Aaron and Nicolette, adamant she can’t have a relationship with an employee.
However, Aaron and Nicolette both wonder if this is really about Jane being Clint’s boss, suggesting she’s judging Clint’s lower-status occupation. When Jane denies this, they encourage her to not let work dictate her whole life.
The next day, Jane breaks up with Clint, putting him on night shift so they won’t see each other. But she’s startled when she visits Terese and learns Clint will be working morning shift at Eirini Rising.
When Clint removes his shirt while cleaning, his toned body further piques Jane’s interest and it seems it’s not going to be so easy for her to walk away from Clint.
