Kevin fears he has cancer as Abi continues to have visions of Seb in Corrie

How will Abi react to Kevin's news?

11-17 JANUARY

Deeply concerned for Abi, Toyah tells Kevin that she reckons she needs professional help. But Abi assures Kevin that she’s coping and doesn’t need any counselling.

Once alone, Abi relives Mason’s last moments in her head, clearly tortured by her experience.

As Abi continues to dwell on Mason’s death, Debbie calls at No.13 to find Kevin visibly stressed. admitting that he’s found a lump. Shocked, Debbie urges Kevin to share his worries with Abi. But when he finds a tearful Abi in the memorial garden talking to Seb, Kevin realises now is not the time to tell her his news.

Still having visions of Seb and unaware of what Kevin’s going through. Abi tells him that Alfie has a cold so she's going to spend the day at home.

Meanwhile, Kevin sees Dr Gaddas who refers him for tests. Upset and unable to speak to Abi, Kevin confides in Tim about his cancer worries before returning home and finding Abi asleep on the sofa with Alfie.

As Kevin takes Alfie upstairs, Debbie lets herself in and Abi wakes up, accusing her of taking Alfie. When Debbie leaves, Abi tries to defend her over reaction and Kevin blurts out that he has found a lump and may have testicular cancer. And Abi reels in shock.

In the café, when Abi opens up to Roy, admitting that that she’s been suffering flashbacks of Seb’s final moments and hearing his voice, he urges her to talk to Kevin.
