Krista pushes Leo away as she searches for Sebastian in Neighbours

But will she pay $35,000 to keep Seb alive?

As Krista and Leo enjoy living once again in a loved-up bubble, Leo’s starting to think about proposing to Krista.

Later, Trevor finds a bag by the lake that belonged to Seb and Byron and Sadie bring the bag to Krista, whose concern rises. What if something bad’s happened to her friend?

Realising he might have to reveal his part in sending Seb packing, Leo wonders what it will cost him if he does.

With Sebastian’s bag in the police’s hands, a frantic Krista searches for more clues on her friend’s disappearance. But when Leo finally admits that he’s the one who sent the guy packing, a shocked Krista isn’t particularly comforted, especially now she’s aware there are loan sharks after her friend.

When Krista urges the police to help track Sebastian down, when they do get a hold of him, Krista’s stunned to learn that he doesn’t want anything to do with her anymore.

With Krista left confused, Leo attempts to make up for his actions by bringing in Byron, who saw Sebastian talking to a woman with a distinctive tattoo. Taking the information on board, Krista rejects any further help from Leo as he’s done enough, and she’ll find Sebastian on her own.

Leaving Leo completely out of the loop, Krista embarks on her search for Sebastian with Byron, with their only lead being the sighting of Sebastian with a female drug dealer sporting a distinctive neck tattoo.

Eventually, they discover the dealer’s name is Jordan Masciulli, but despite all their best efforts, she remains tight-lipped on Sebastian’s whereabouts.

After Krista feels they’ve reached a dead-end, Sebastian is tipped off by Jordan, and reaches out to Krista to assure her that he’s alive and well. However, for that to remain the case, he needs $35,000. With Krista prepared to pay straight away, Leo urges caution.

Knowing that Krista is angry with him, Leo is deeply sorry for sending Sebastian packing in the first place, but before she pays that amount of money, she should try to gather some more information.

Initially, Krista heeds Leo’s warning, but when Sadie casually reminds her that it’s her friend, and her money, and she can do whatever she wants, Krista decides to follow her first instinct and send Sebastian the money.
