What does this mean for Lauren's future?
18-24 JANUARY
It's a bad day in court for Lauren as whilst Roy is telling the court that Lauren is a kind and caring person, Brie jumps up in the public gallery sporting a sling claiming Lauren attacked her in the prison.
Horrified, Lauren assures her barrister she did no such thing and she's told that Frankie is not well and has been taken to hospital.
Upset that she is stuck in court and can’t go to her son, Lauren tells the prosecution barrister during Max’s cross examination that she is glad Joel is dead. Has she caused herself more problems?
Later at the hospital, Lauren informs Max that Frankie’s fighting an infection. Certain she’s going to prison, Lauren regrets losing her temper in court and tells Max that she doesn’t care about the trial and the only thing that matters is Frankie getting better.
While Lauren keeps vigil by Frankie’s hospital bed, in the courtroom the barristers deliver their closing statements to the jury.
When Dee Dee calls and tells Lauren that the jury can’t reach an agreement, Lauren is worried it is a bad sign. With Lauren’s fate in the jury’s hands there is nothing more she can do as she returns to the court for the verdict.
