Will anyone be pleased to see them?
9-15 NOVEMBER
Holly has an eventful day and is left fuming when she's knocked into the Complex pond by a careless Max Ramsay who doesn’t realise what he’s done.
Later, whilst out with Byron, Holly sees Max again and angrily confronts him about his actoons. But as he stands his ground, Max's tone infuriates Byron who is ready to get physical with this smug interloper.
Earlier, Holly is left with a dilemma when Liv from the Crimesborough podcast emotionally blackmails her about doing a tell-all story on her experience with Heath.
Feeling she owes Liv, Holly asks Melanie for her advice.
As she's left pondering the situation, Holly is derailed by seeing Max again at the Waterhole and can’t believe his cheek. But as Byron prepares for Round Two, their jaws hit the ground when they realise Max is Shane Ramsay’s son!
Meanwhile, Shane Ramsay’s return piques Paul’s curiosity and it seems things have gone awry for Shane and Izzy. And whilst Shane is vague on the details, Holly is left feeling frustrated and he’s even more cagey about the reason he’s brought his son to Erinsborough. It seems both Shane and Max are keeping secrets.
Back on Ramsay Street, Vera has decided to interview new housemates for Number 32, with Nicolete and Byron scrambling to talk her down. However, Vera’s got a one-track mind and she accepts one of the applicants that afernoon... Max Ramsay!
When Byron and Holly find out that Vera has invited Max to live at the Share House without consultation, they are furious, whilst Max is unperturbed.
And Holly and Byron are further outraged when they learn that Max has landed a plumb job at Lassiters. Despite Max's attempts to smooth things over, the two refuse to be reasonable.
When Max flirts with Sadie, unaware she’s Byron’s girlfriend and they’re all housemates, Byron interrupts them and sets things straight. But his territorial shtick gets Sadie offside and when Andrew makes another plea for Sadie to come home, Byron suggests she move into Number 32 permanently… that way Max can move out.
However, Byron’s shoddy handling of the issue upsets Sadie further, until an apology and a more heartfelt plea explaining how much he loves living with her, eventually appeases her and she agrees to move in long term.
Wanting Byron to prove this is about them, not Max, Sadie wants him to let Max stay on. When Byron accepts, Sadie is left with the tough task of telling her dad that she really isn’t coming home.
As Max starts his trial as EA at Lassiters, Karl is impressed by his worth ethic and tries to set Max up with Holly, who’s thoroughly appalled when she finds out.
Meanwhile, Shane is a lovesick mess over Izzy and Karl, running out of words of wisdom, enlists Paul to help lift Shane’s spirits with a boy’s night out. However, it's hardly a success as Shane can’t get Izzy off his mind.
Krista meanwhile, finds herself doubting whether Max is suitable for the EA gig and knows it’ll be a challenge to convince Paul they shouldn’t hire his best mate’s son. As she gets to know Max better, Krista learns he only took the job to please his dad.
Interrupting the boys’ night, Krista declares that Max’s Lassiters trial is over as hiring him isn’t in the best interests of the hotel, or Max and urges Shane to consider what will make his son truly happy.
