Nicolette confronts Yaz as she flees Erinsborough following Lights Up electrocution in Neighbours

How will Holly react when she discovers Yaz's true identity?

 18-24 JANUARY

As the Lights Up event gets underway, Holly enjoys the fruits of her labour, oblivious to the deadly fate Yaz has waiting in store for her.

Meanwhile, Yaz prepares to leave town, but not before podcaster Blaze urges her to listen to the latest episode of Crimesborough which she insists adds so much extra perspective to the story of what happened in the outback.

Unbeknownst to Yaz, Nicolette is trying to find her off the back of their last conversation, and this eventually leads her to Yaz’s hotel room, which she finds trashed and Yaz’s belongings gone.

She also discovers a business card for a criminal lawyer… and when she shows it to Krista, she learns this is the lawyer for Heath’s family, who do not believe he was a murderer. And the jigsaw pieces start to come together for Nicolette.

Finally listening to the new podcast, Yaz hears testimonies from Mackenzie, Haz, Toadie and Melanie, who help her finally see that she’s been blinded by her love for Heath and read the situation completely wrong with regards to both Heath and Holly.

Forced to face her grave error, Yaz rushes back to try to stop Holly from being electrocuted, but Nicolette demanding answers gets in her way and stops her from reaching her in time.

Seeing there is nothing she can do now, Yaz flees once again, but Nicolette follows her to the airport to demand an explanation. Realising Nicolette has figured out way too much, Yaz finally comes clean about her relationship to Heath and her terrible grief and quest for understanding, which ultimately led to an overwhelmed snap mistake.

As the tale comes tumbling out, Holly and others finally make the connection between Yaz and Heath too as some of her personal photos have ended up in the Lost Loves display.

As Holly reels, trying to make sense of this, Yaz tells Nicolette she’s ready to hand herself in, but as she makes a phone call and discovers Max will eventually make a recovery, she, in the spur of the moment, tells Yaz to get on the plane and go! What will a surprised Yaz decide to do?

With Ramsay Street awash with confusion upon learning there’s a connection between Yaz and Heath, no-one is more confused than Holly when she finds out the two of them are siblings.

As the residents attempt to track Yaz down, they uncover answers over her agenda in Erinsborough, whilst a cautious Nicolette returns and doesn’t reveal what she knows.

As more information comes to light for Holly, including that Yaz went to Tess to look for evidence against her, that she attempted to gaslight her with hidden recording equipment, and that she set Holly up to use a faulty transformer in order to electrocute her.

Struggling with the fact that another personhas come into her life intent on hurting her, Max galvanises Holly, assuring her that she doesn’t deserve any of it. But as a refocused Holly attempts to find a way to track down Yaz and have her tormentor face justice, Nicolette finds herself increasingly wrapped up in guilt.
