Paul tries to get Leo and Krista back together in Neighbours

But can they get past their tense stalemate?

FOR WEEK COMMENCING 13TH MAY

Keen to fix what he broke, Paul plays cupid for Krista and Leo and ropes in Cara to help set up a romantic brunch at the rotunda before telling Krista to meet him for a ‘work catch up’. But when Leo reveals he saw them setting up the scene, he warns Paul he’s too hurt to give things another go.

Having failed, Paul goes to pack up the brunch only to have Krista arrive early and realise what he was planning. Feeling terrible, Paul is taken by surprise when Krista asks him to join her instead, not wanting his efforts to go to waste.

Later on in the week, with Krista back onboard at work, she and Paul make it a priority to remove all traces of Chelsea from the hotel, while Krista and Leo awkwardly stumble through their new post-relationship normal.

After seeing he menacing Krista, Leo scares Shannon off, but is left stung and confused when Krista turns on him, explaining she doesn't need Leo sweeping in to ‘save’ her, especially as Leo has made his feelings clear about not wanting to be with her.

However, Leo counters that she's the one who ended things in the first place and as the two stride off, Paul is left disappointed by the tense stalemate.

Soon, Shannon approaches Krista again but shrinks when Krista puts her in her place. Unseen by either of them, Shannon accidentally drops a small baggie of pills onto the grass.

Later, having learnt of his Aunt Rosemary's passing, Paul discusses his plans to see family in New York, but neither he nor Leo are aware that Abigail has stumbled upon the forgotten pills that Shannon dropped.
