As Lauren struggles, she's short with Peter in the café and the pair argue before Penny intervenes and takes Lauren back to No.27 where she reveals all about her pregnancy, and Penny agrees to keep Lauren’s plight a secret.
With things tense between them, Lauren continues to conceal the true extent of her struggles from Peter, blaming her pain on morning sickness.
Later, Peter later puts his foot in it at McKlunky’s and Lauren heads to the café where she comforts Amy who is also struggling and the pair head to No.27 for a movie night.
As he and Lauren continue to argue, Peter starts to grow suspicious when she's reluctant to take Louie to school and following a heart-to-heart with Anna, where he shares his concerns with her, she gives him food for thought.
Later, Peter confronts Lauren at No.45 to ask if she is drinking. What will her answer be?
