Reiss steals from Sharon as his debts rise in EastEnders

But will he come clean to Sonia about the trouble he's in?

FOR WEEK COMMENCING 8TH JULY

As Sonia heads in for her embryo transfer, she's nervous and Reiss takes a call saying Debbie’s care fees are three months overdue.

As he looks at an £18,000 bill for Debbie’s care fees, Reiss' stress levels are sky high and behind Sonia's back, decides to rent the spare room to generate cash. Catching him, Sonia isn't happy.

When Reiss opens up to Sonia about his money worries, she reasons they’ll find a way but will not be getting a lodger. However, Reiss is thrown a lifeline when Sharon offers him some work chasing her outstanding invoices.

Later, whilst calling in the money Sharon's owed, Reiss decides to use some creative accounting to line his pockets. But he feels terrible when Sharon gives him his pay, plus a bit extra for doing the job at short notice.

Back at home, Reiss lies to Sonia that he has enough to pay Debbie’s care fees.

EastEnders continues Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One with first look episodes available from 6am on BBC iPlayer

Reiss is definitely digging himself into a deeper hole—trying to fix a financial problem with more deception rarely ends well. I’ve been in a similar situation with my business before, juggling debts and financial pressures, and I know how stressful it can get. What really helped me was working with cfo services, which gave me a clear strategy to manage cash flow and avoid desperate decisions. Reiss could definitely use some proper financial guidance before things spiral even further!
