When Remi demands to know how long he's staying for, Taye fires back that he doesn’t owe her an itinerary. And they’re both locked in an argument when Ken, their father, arrives unexpectedly, to take Taye home to Apollo Bay.
But when Taye insists he’s staying in Erinsborough, Remi is taken aback when he confesses that he admires the life Remi has made for herself and wants to be a part of it.
As she wonders why he’s never told her this before, he says it’s because she's always made it clear she doesn’t want anything to do with him. But as Remi argues this isn’t true, it's suddenly revealed that Ken has been the one who has been keeping them apart over the years.
Following an argument, Taye and Remi decide to give living together a go.
