Can Cassie be saved?

As Evelyn opens her birthday presents she explains to Fiz and Tyrone that she needs to help her addict daughter, not push her away.
Desperate for a fix, Cassie calls a dealer and when Ken overhears Tracy telling Evelyn, Roy and Nina how Cassie spent the night in the ginnel, he's disgusted. While Evelyn’s worried sick.
When Cassie meets the dealer in the precinct, as he pulls out the drugs, Roy arrives and threatens to call the police.
Later, Ken tells Tracy that her treatment of Cassie was unforgivable and he’s off to the Peak District for a few days. He tells her that by the time he returns, he wants her gone!
Meanwhile, Evelyn offers to give up her studies to help look after Cassie.
