Sadie defends Max's behaviour as Byron calls out his flirting in Neighbours

But when Max admits he likes her, will Sadie tell Byron?

 30 NOVEMBER - 6 DECEMBER

Byron is annoyed when Sadie points out Trevor’s love for Max, but it’s Nicolette who realises it’s actually Sadie and Max’s connection that’s really irking her brother.

Meanwhile, Krista and Leo enjoy living once again in a loved-up bubble. So much so, Leo’s starting to think about proposing to Krista.

Later, Trevor finds a bag by the lake that belonged to Seb and Byron and Sadie bring the bag to Krista, whose concern rises. What if something bad’s happened to her friend?

Realising he might have to reveal his part in sending Seb packing, Leo wonders what it will cost him if he does.

As he continues to watch Max and Sadie get closer, Byron struggles to bite his tongue, and when Nicolette suggests he might work through his jealously if he gives Max a chance, Byron swallows his pride and offers a tentative hand of friendship to Max. But when Max continues his playful ways with Sadie, Byron’s unable to stay quiet.

However, when Byron unloads on Sadie about what he sees as Max’s clear flirtations, she defends Max’s behaviour, only seeing it as friendly, leaving the couple at a frustrating impasse.

When Sadie shares Byron’s theory with Max, she’s left stunned when the completely casual and brazenly confident Max admits that Byron has it right. He is into her and he’d like to keep exploring this spark between them.

After Max’s open declaration of attraction, a flustered Sadie finally gathers herself, insisting she’s with Byron and only loves him, and that Max has serious crossed a line.

Preparing himself to be blasted by Byron for his actions, Max realises Sadie hasn’t informed him of their conversation and begins to suspect her feelings might be reciprocated.

However, Sadie denies him again, claiming the only reason she didn’t tell Byron was because she doesn’t want to cause chaos in their household and tells Max she wants him to forget all about their interaction. Encouraged by her vehement denial, Max has no intention of forgetting anything.
