When Byron rues how Sadie stll refuses to talk to him, the housemates approach Sadie, hoping to sway her. Reluctantly, Sadie agrees to a visit, but isn’t appeased by Byron’s apology and explanation.
With Byron needing a break, he and Nicolette decide to join the Gippsland Express with Melanie, taking a trip to visit Vic.
Holly and Byron's excitement over Sadie being discharged from hospital is short-lived after they discover that she isn't going home. Instead, she's moving back in with her parents so they can care for her.
Meanwhile, Byron thinks it’s a signpost that he and Sadie are on the verge of breaking up, but Holly and Max try to reassure that she’s going through something traumatic.
Later, when a solo Sadie inspects her bandages in the mirror, her sadness gives way to rage. And as the extent of her devastation is revealed, she breaks everything in her grasp.
