Can Leah get to the bottom of what's going on with James?
FOR WEEK COMMENCING 26 AUGUST
After failing his driving test, Dillon can’t take Lucas to Cornwall. With Ste depressed after his break-up with James, Dillon and Lucas come up with a plan to get them back together.
Outside the hospital, Ste and James both get invited to a meeting at Casa McQueen and work out they have been set up by the children. Telling James he is the love of his life, Ste begs for another chance but James is distraught and says he can’t try any more.
However, Ste won’t be deterred and turns up at the flat to find James with painkillers and fears he was planning to misuse them.
When Leela mentions that Joel will be drug-tested on his return to work, Ste asks her to check on James, but she suggests professional help is needed.
When Maxine turns up to see James, he works out that Ste sent her and rails at Maxine before walking out. Turning up at the Lomaxes, James warns Ste to back off.
Later, Leah is the next to try with James. Touched that she is concerned, James tells her that the pills were just for a headache and he isn’t going anywhere. As she assures Ste, Leah looks set to be the one to get them back together.
Whilst James is dosing up with painkillers, Ste turns up to see him and asks to spend the day with him.
Later at the the Dog, Ste arrives in his wedding day outfit in a hope to win him over. But will it work?
At At the law firm, Leah carries on her mission to get Ste and James back together. But after he shouts her out of the office, Maxine confronts him over why he changed his will the day before to leave everything to Ste and the children.
