Can Terese come around to Paul's new parental role?

After hearing about Leo’s arrest, Chelsea immediately offers her support to Paul, suggesting he spend more time with Thomas as a way to distract himself.
With Terese's consent, Paul agrees, despite Terese's growing unease at the increasing closeness between Paul, Chelsea and Thomas.
After Leo is charged, Chelsea pays Paul a visit and Terese's mood snaps and she gives Chelsea a spray, telling her she’s not convinced by her Mother Teresa act.
Feeling awkward after giving Chelsea a sparay, Terese decides not to tell Paul, especially after seeing his worry over Leo and the arrest. But later, when Paul tries to tee up a catch up with Chelsea and Thomas, he gets fobbed off, which makes him think he’s done something to upset Chelsea.
As he dwells on it, Terese admits her part in Chelsea’s distance and confesses all her insecurities. While Paul is sympathetic, he explains that he’s playing a long game with Chelsea to ensure he stays in Thomas’s life.
This pushes Terese to offer Chelsea a hearhelt apology. And while on the surface she says she’ll be okay. On the inside she's struggling with this new family dynamic.
