Voting is now OPEN for the 10th annual I Talk Telly Awards as nominations are revealed

The I Talk Telly Awards are BACK, celebrating another stellar twelve months in television. This year is extra special as 2024 marks the awards’ tenth anniversary.

Since launching in 2015, the I Talk Telly Awards, created by founder Elliot Gonzalez, have seen over 2.2 million votes registered.

Voting is now open across 23 categories celebrating programmes and talent across Comedy, Drama, Entertainment, Lifestyle and Factual and Soaps which this year sees the introduction of a new category, recognising the best villains in soap.

Voting closes at 10pm GMT on Saturday 23rd November, with winners set to be announced at 10am GMT on Sunday 8th December and you can vote for free here.

Once again, EastEnders leads this year’s nominations with 11 across Best Soap, Best Soap Newcomer, Best Soap Performance, Best Soap Partnership and Best Villain, closely followed by Coronation Street with 10 and Hollyoaks with 9.

Ant & Dec continue to lead with four nominations across Best TV Presenting Partnership, Best Talent Show, Best Entertainment Show and Best Reality TV Show.

Lucia Keskin’s debut BBC comedy Things You Should Have Done, picks up three nominations, in Best Breakthrough, Best New Comedy and Best Comedy Performance, matching the success of the second series of Sophie Willan’s Alma’s Not Normal, which also picks up three nominations including two for Best Comedy Performance.

Also picking up three nominations is ITV’s This Morning, with nominations across Best Daytime Show and Best TV Presenting Partnership, which this year sees Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley go up against Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.

And finally, two of the year’s biggest dramas, Baby Reindeer and Mr Bates vs The Post Office, each receive three nominations including Best New Drama as well as Best Breakthrough for Richard Gadd and Best Dramatic Performance for Jessica Gunning, Monica Dolan and Toby Jones.

Last year's awards received 240,000 votes, with big winners including Alan Carr, Ant & Dec, David Tennant, Graham Norton, Lenny Henry as well as Coronation Street, EastEnders, Staged and more and you can watch their acceptance videos here.

As ever, all nominations have been decided by I Talk Telly’s founder Elliot Gonzalez and each and every winner will be decided by the voting public and announced online from 10am on Sunday 8th December.
