And when confronted by Cindy, can Dave convince her he's not Blue?
31 AUGUST - 6 SEPTEMBER
Thanks to Joel's false alibi, Warren is coming home and whilst Mercedes is in good spirits, not everyone is as pleased as she is by the shock news.
Meanwhile, Dilly gives Vicky and Ethan her blessing, crediting herself as matchmaker for locking them in the Loft office together, sparking their night of passion. And when Ethan decides to ask Vicky out, she's delighted when he propositions her in the park agreeing a date. But someone is watching them.
However, whilst Vicky was distracted by Ethan, she stopped watching Mercedes’ twins and when she turns around they are gone! Vicky calls Donny for help as Mercdes receives a message from Blue that he has ‘the Maria’s’.
With the search on for Mercedes’ missing twins, Donny stops her talking to the police and tells her to do what he says or say goodbye to the girls. Following his instructions, Mercedes tells the police it was a false alarm.
Telling Mercedes they need to wait to find out what Blue wants, Donny promises to get the girls back and put Blue away for good.
As she becomes increasingly desperate, Mercedes goes to the prison and tells Warren that he has to comply with Blue’s instructions. By that evening, Warren must confess to his mother’s murder and spend the rest of his life in jail. And Mercedes pleads with him to put their love aside to save their twins.
Meanwhile, Cindy, Grace and Tom join the search for Mercedes’ twins but when Cindy feels worse for wear, Dave takes her home.
After Vicky is comforted by Ethan and Donny who assure her she’s not to blame, Donny tells Ethan he is suspicious that he was distracting Vicky when the twins went missing.
At the house, Tom tells Cindy that he knows who took Mercedes’ twins and has solved the mystery of who Blue is. But whilst Tom believes it's Dave, Cindy says she knows him too well.
Knowing who can help them, Tom takes Cindy with him as they head to Casa McQueen to see Mercedes. But when she can’t help, Tom snatches Mercedes’ phone.
When Dave comes home, Cindy confronts him over stealing Mercedes twins and begging for the truth, asks him about the burner phone. Lying, Dave tells Cindy he is still the man she fell in love with.
Later, Donny continues to try and find out the identity of Blue but as he runs checks through his force pals, Ethan is right under his nose as he is dating Vicky. As he plans an evening out with Misbah, Donny has a polygraph lie detector from his policing days and tries to use it on Ethan asking him the important question... Are you Blue?
Meanwhile, angry that Ethan is ghosting her, Vicky wants answers from her dad. Certain that Ethan is Blue, Donny gets into Dave’s house and searches for clues but is interrupted when Dave comes home. And Donny gets a text from Misbah to say that she is staying with a friend.
As Ste tries to reason with her about the plan to break Warren out of prison, Mercedes is worried sick that he will be killed in prison, leaving her and the Maria’s.
Ste tells Mercedes they need someone ‘on the inside’ and Mercedes asks Donny for his support, and at the Loft, they beg Grace and Freddie for help,
With the wheels in motion for Warren's escape, Donny nods to another inmate who on cue starts a riot in the room.
