BBC One's new drama Mr Loverman, brings to life Bernardine Evaristo’s ground-breaking exploration of Britain’s older Caribbean community which is a life-affirming story about family, love, and being true to yourself.


Played by Lennie James, Barrington Jedidiah Walker, Barry to his mates, is a seventy-four year old, Antiguan born, exuberant Hackney personality, renowned for his dapper taste and fondness for retro suits.


Carmel, his wife of 50 years, played by Sharon D Clarke, senses that Barry has been cheating on her with other women. Little does she know what’s really going on: a secret, passionate affair with his best friend and soulmate, Morris, played by Ariyon Bakare.


Now facing the final chapter of his life, Barry has big choices to make that will force his whole family to question their futures.

Wednesday 16th October at 9pm on Sky Max


Much-loved comedy quiz show, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, returns to Sky Max this week for its fourth series with Greg Davies once again at the helm, with returning team captain, Noel Fielding and regular panelist, Jamali Maddix.


This series, Sophie Willan will sit in as opposing team captain for a handful of shows, with Daisy May Cooper returning for the Christmas Special. Other guest team captains this series include Courtney Love, Beth Ditto, Mel B and Perrie Edwards.


The first episode of the new series sees Greg, Noel, Jamali and Courtney Love joined by Joel Dommett, Abi Harding and Glen Matlock.

This week sees the cast of Absolutely Fabulous, Jennifer Saunders, Dame Joanna Lumley, Jane Horrocks and Julia Sawalha, reunite for the first time since 2016, to take a reflective look at Absolutely Fabulous, one of Britain’s most-loved comic creations set in the glamourous world of fashion PR in the 90s,


In what's being described as an exclusive rampage down memory lane, the four will pay tribute to much-missed castmember Dame June Whitfield, who played Mother, and celebrate its ground-breaking influence on female comedy.


They'll be joined by a host of fellow Absolutely Fabulous stars, celebrity cameos and famous fans to share unheard anecdotes, exclusive backstage secrets and personal reflections amongst a glittering array of archive’s best bits: from original scripts to high-fashion costumes, to never-before-seen moments from the rehearsal room that will bring viewers behind the scenes to see how the magic of Ab Fab was made.

Everyone's favourite god-fearing Mancunians, the Lewis family are back as Everyone Else Burns returns for a second series.


As Simon Bird, Kate O’Flynn, Amy James-Kelly and Harry Connor return, expect an inferno of family strife, marital chaos, and righteous revolution. This time they're joined by Sian Clifford as Maude, an imposing new member of The Order.


Series two will challenge the Lewises’ commitment to The Order more than ever before. Relationships are front and centre as Rachel’s drive for independence is threatened by arranged marriage and cracks widen between David and Fiona.


Meanwhile, Aaron will launch a revolutionary bid to drag The Order into the present day (with, and in spite of, his Dad’s help).

Over 20 years ago, the world was introduced to The Office, created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, and this week sees the highly-anticipated Australian version, the thirteenth global adaptation, launch on Prime Video.


The Office Australia follows the employees at a packaging company, Flinley Craddick in Sydney and stars Felicity Ward as managing director Hannah Howard.


When she gets news from Head Office that they will be shutting down her branch and making everyone work from home, she goes into survival mode, making promises she can’t keep in order to keep her “work family” together. The staff of Flinley Craddick indulge her and must endure Hannah’s outlandish plots as they work toward the impossible targets that have been set for them.


The series also stars Flinley Craddick, Edith Poor, Steen Raskopoulos, Shari Sebbens, Josh Thomson, Jonny Brugh, Susan Ling Young, Raj Labade, Lucy Schmidt, Zoe Terakes, Pallavi Sharda, Claude Jabbour and Jason Perini.

Dominic Treadwell-Collins' highly anticipated adaptation of Jilly Coopers book Rivals, finally arrives on Disney+ this week, promising big business, big drama and big deals... in the boardroom and the bedroom.


Set in England 1986, Rivals follows Rupert Campbell-Black, played by Alex Hassell, a notorious rake and famous showjumper before he quit for a career in politics, as he joins forces with his new neighbour Declan O'Hara, played by Aidan Turner, to overthrow local unscrupulous television magnate Lord Tony Baddingham, played by David Tennant, by bidding for his Cotswolds based independent television franchise.


But Rupert and Declan’s plans are disrupted by a blossoming romance between the famously womanising Rupert and Declan’s innocent daughter Taggie O’Hara, played by Bella Maclean, a love triangle between Rupert, Tony and his right-hand woman, the brilliant American producer Cameron Cook, played by Nafessa Williams, and Declan’s stormy relationship with his wife the dazzling actress Maud, played by Victoria Smurfit.


In the backstabbing world of television where it is every man and woman for themselves, can true love really blossom?
