 RETURNING TALENT SHOW

THE VOICE UK

Saturday 31st August at 8pm on ITV1

In the words of Sir Tom Jones, it's not unusual for a line-up change when it comes to the coaches on The Voice UK, and this series Olly Murs and Anne-Marie have been replaced with not two but three brand new coaches.

Joining will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones on the hunt for a musical superstar will be internationally acclaimed artist LeAnn Rimes and making The Voice UK history, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones from McFly will fill the fourth coaching spot in a double chair. In a format twist, both will have to agree in order to turn the chair.

Emma Willis is back at the helm presenting the show, presiding over the action as each of the hopefuls takes to the stage in the hope of turning one of the iconic red chairs and ultimately winning a life changing record contract with music giants EMI, £50,000 in cash and a holiday to Universal Studios Florida.

 BRAND NEW REALITY TV

OLIVIA ATTWOOD'S
BAD BOYFRIENDS

Thursday 5th September on Netflix

Badly behaved boyfriends, cheaters and DM-sliders beware as presenter and podcaster Olivia Attwood is coming for you in a brand new explosive reality format for ITV2, Olivia Attwood's Bad Boyfriends.

Flown to a Greek island under the premise of filming a series about manhood and bromance in a hedonistic holiday mecca, eight unsuspecting bad boyfriends will get the shock of their lives when Olivia Atwood appears to announce their wild partying days are on hold and to reveal the true purpose of the show.

She's there to whip them all into better boyfriend shape. All at the behest of their long-suffering girlfriends, whose surprise, dramatic arrivals cause mayhem. But Olivia has her work cut out attempting to reform this wayward bunch of boys from serial cheaters and lazy lovers, to commitment-phobes and man-children, it’s time to shape up or ship out.

Across 11 episodes, the boys will compete in a series of challenges, designed to rectify their ways and battle it out to become the most improved boyfriend.

Expect tough love, lots of humour and plenty of mischief, alongside unexpected revelations and explosive scenes along the way. Can the couples get back on track with Olivia’s help? And how will the girlfriends react when the spotlight is turned on them?

There will be eliminations across the series as the least improved boyfriends deemed incapable of improving are voted out, resulting in one boy being crowned the most improved boyfriend but left facing a huge dilemma.

COLIN FROM ACCOUNTS

Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th September at 10pm on BBC Two

Colin From Accounts is the hit Australian romantic comedy about flawed, funny people choosing each other and embracing the all-too-relatable chaos of modern life. And this week sees its highly anticipated second season finally come to the UK.

Having been brought together a spontaneous nipple flash and the subsequent accident that injured the titular (no pun intended) dog, season two sees Gordon and Ashley now living together but there's a big, Colin-shaped hole in their hearts.

As they try to get their beloved, special needs dog, Colin, back from his new owners, it's just the first in a series of hurdles for the new couple as they find out more about each other, for better and worse. Did they want a relationship? Or did they just want a dog?

SLOW HORSES

Wednesday 4th September on Apple TV+

Apple TV+'s darkly comic spy drama Slow Horses is back this week for its fourth season. It follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known unaffectionately as Slough House.

Gary Oldman stars as Lamb, the brilliant but cantankerous leader of the spies, who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes as they frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world.

Season four opens with a bombing that detonates personal secrets, rocking the already unstable foundations of Slough House.

EMMA WILLIS: DELIVERING BABIES

Thursday 5th September at 9pm on U&W

Emma Willis: Delivering Babies is back for its fourth series and after an 18-month break, the TV presenter returns to work in maternity services. But this time it’s all change as she’s got a new role working in a bigger hospital, Watford General in Hertfordshire.

Over the course of 10 weeks, Emma is challenged to step up her training as she tries to qualify as a Maternity Support Worker (MSW), one level up from her previous job as a Maternity Care Assistant (MCA).

Under the supervision of a new team of dedicated midwives, Emma takes on more responsibility caring for women and their families, going through pregnancy andchildbirth. And a more hands- on role monitoring the health of newborn babies.

But to qualify as an MSW, Emma must be continually assessed. She has to prove she’s competent in the skills she learnt as an MCA and is also challenged to learn vital new techniques caring for new mothers and their babies.

And once she qualifies, Emma will have to face the biggest challenge of her NHS career, running an ante-natal clinic for expectant Mums completely on her own, without any supervision.
