Sharon is horrified to realise that Bianca knows her secret, so she decides to take control and steals herself to be honest but circumstances prevent her from doing so.
After her failed attempt to come clean, Sharon talks to Zack about her secret only to realise that somebody has overheard their conversation.
Later, when Barney reveals that he was the mystery eavesdropper, Zack promises Sharon he’ll find a way to stop him from speaking out.
At Harry’s Barn, Zack confronts Barney, but their conversation takes a turn when Barney starts bleeding from the wound that he sustained during The Vic explosion.
As the medics look at Barney in the hospital, Zack joins Nicola and Teddy and a conversation about blood groups sparks his suspicions.
Later, having had a word with the nurse, Zack confronts Nicola to ask if he is Barney’s biological father and she admits that he is.
Reeling, Zack heads back to Walford to drown his sorrows and his day goes from bad to worse after a phone call from Whitney.
In order to protect Barney and Teddy from the truth, Nicola plays her trump card with Sharon and after a frank conversation, Nicola’s pleased to believe that she’s finally gotten the situation under control.
Later, Nicola and Teddy invite Sharon and Zack to join them for a family meal at Walford East. But will the truth remain a secret?
